FPL Vibes Prize League Roundup – September

Six weeks are gone folks and so much has happened in that time. Some have burned that wildcard already and cashed in points wise shooting to the top half of the table while others have kept the treasured card close to their chests. Whatever the method employed we must recognize the early pacesetters led by first placed Luke Bibby (Mufcbibb) followed by Sterling Beckles (FC KAKA RETURNS) who is also our Prize League winner for September. Sterling claims the monthly prize of a club jersey of his choice from our official kit supplier, Red Mango Kits. For his prize, Sterling has selected an AC Milan Home Jersey Size S, Kaka 22.

In third, fourth and fifth we have Alon Cooper(AC GUNNERS FC), Sean Patience(Sugars FC) and Jahera TriniItalian Parris(Hmm…). These gents hold the overall prize positions at the moment and will take some catching, especially for folks like myself (bottom of the ladder!). But it is early days and the rest of us will take the position of ‘Enjoy it guys..while it lasts!’ All the same, credit to these gents for the great start and we will now feature one of these guys who had an outstanding September, Sterling Beckles.

In Gameweek four Sterling took a massive 12 point hit but offset it brilliantly by totaling a whopping 93 points. The high point earners were Giroud(C) with 22, Ramsey(15), Nastasic and Fonte with 9 apiece. For Gameweek 5 FC KAKA RETURNS took another 12 point hit and returned 58 points. Quite a gambler Sterling was but his bravery paid off big time with Ozil(14), Ramsey(9) and Michu(11) scaling the heights of the FPL mountain peak. In the last Gameweek(6) of September Sterling took a smaller hit(4 pts) when selling Soldado and Moses to get Suarez and Brady in. This resulted in an impressive tally of 76 points with the ‘high men’ being captain Suarez(26), Lukaku(16) and Ramsey(13).  Sterling clearly went boldly with his transfers and got due reward.

So with 6 gameweeks gone we are faced with a gap of 148 points between 1st and last place in the FPL Vibes prize league. This is not an insurmountable gap for those at the bottom of the league and it will be interesting to see how FPL players approach the upcoming Gameweek 7 which is just before an international break. Hold on to your hats folks but while you are at it, lets tip those hats to FC KAKA RETURNS.

Can you feel the vibes?
