FPL Vibes Prize League Roundup – October

Ahhh folks another Fantasy Premier League month has ended and this heralds a new FPL Vibes prize league winner for October by the name of Meshan Marshall, with his side Meesh FC totalling an impressive 193 points. For his choice of jersey, Meshan has selected a Liverpool Home Kit, Sakho 17 from our official kit supplier Red Mango Kits.

Meshan’s skill and craft was able to Ward (not the Crystal Palace defender) off a furious battle from a number of challengers. We must give kudos to the current top three managers in the league as they blaze the trail early on. Manager Luke Bibby with his Mufcbibb is in 1st spot, while last month’s prize league winner Sterling Beckles with his FC KAKA RETURNS holds 2nd spot. Real Marabella managed by Feliz Tobas rounds out the top 3 and these managers must be congratulated for their excellent management thus far. Let us now take a look at how Meshan went about his business for October.

In a three week monthly FPL schedule Meshan began by getting 52 points in gameweek 7.  The high point earners for him were captain Sturridge (18), Boruc(10) and Aguero(7). Meshan then wisely banked his transfer for gameweek 8 and this ‘no minus’ strategy resulted in 77 points. On this occasion the ‘high men’ were Aguero(16), Ozil(15), Ramsey(11) and captain Sturridge(10).

In gameweek 9 Meshan used only one of his available two transfers, bringing in young Manchester United midfielder Januzaj for Bellamy. Meshan went into the final gameweek holding a 15 point lead over his nearest rivals but endured a torturous wait for victory as a hattrick by Luis Suarez on Saturday allowed his competitors to temporarily oust him from the top of the monthly table.  He ended the weekend with a tally of 64 points with Van Persie(11), Dawson(9), Sturridge(8) and Aguero(8) as the major contributors to the cause. Even though Meshan’s captain Ozil did not fire in gameweek 9 he was still able to hang on to the top spot for October. Meshan’s October exploits have put him in 10th place. The fact that he also still has two free transfers for gameweek 10 puts him in good shape for a November run but while we salute his managerial acumen, there are hopes and dreams from all of us to climb that podium for the coming month.

Well done to Meesh FC!! May I say that he was a man on a Meesh-ion?

Haha, can you feel the vibes?
